Effects of Filler-Asphalt Ratio on the Properties of Lignin and Polyester Fiber Reinforced SMPU/SBS Modified Asphalt Mortar

To understand the effects of filler-asphalt ratio on different properties lignin and polyester fiber reinforced shape memory polyurethane (SMPU)/styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) composite modified asphalt mortar (PSAM), as well to reveal reinforcing toughening mechanisms fibers PSAM, SMPU, SBS mineral powder were first utilized prepare PSAM. Then conventional, rheological anticracking PSAM (LFAM) (PFAM) at ratios characterized. Test results indicate that shear strength, deformation resistance viscosity are increased after adding 0.8wt% or increasing from 0.8 1.2. The optimal 1.0 is proposed comprehensive performance assessments Polyester shows a better effect than fiber, but its improvement in thermal stability not significant high temperatures. Additionally, complex modulus, storage loss modulus rutting factor improved show an trend raised, phase angle gradually decreased. Further, increase elastic components effectively enhances anti-deformation ability temperatures, more obviously improves high-temperature fiber.
